This study aims to clarify the reality of field training programs in media colleges of the Egyptian universities. There is a notable gap between the content of the educational and training programs and the media institutional needs. The gap located between realties of academic and professional spaces. The study concluded that the training programs should be developed and augmented with practical modules to qualify students to participate effectively in the professional platforms. In addition, the promotion should include quality standards and students attitudes.
