Methods of employing a real-time marketing strategy in promoting products on social media

Abstract

             It has been observed that there is a new marketing trend related to linking the product or service provided by companies on social media sites with many events and current events that the society is witnessing at the present time, and marketing it in an attractive manner, which raised the need to study how this type of marketing is done.  “Real-time marketing” which is one of the modern types of marketing that is based on employing current events that occur in any society in marketing the product through various social media sites, and with various strategies related to the exploitation of news and news stories in marketing. Which is known as News jacking, as well as the exploitation of prominent trends on social networking sites to promote the product and attract attention to it in what is known as Trend jacking. Because consumer products are fast-circulating among the areas most related to the daily life of the public, the focus was on studying them, to find out how to direct different content related to daily life. As well as to employ many events and occasions in providing attractive marketing content related to the products presented in a new and successful way, by focusing on some pages Identifying the methods used. As well as an applied comparison between them.
The research problem is summarized in the extent to which the product pages of the study sample depend on real-time marketing and its various strategies on Facebook, and how many current events and events are used to be present with the public and share them. As well as to find out what these pages use of various methods at the level of Form and content to convey the idea and achieve the desired goal.
