This study seeks to suggest a future perspective to develop and organize the electronic and media content on the regional news and press websites; to enhance its competitive capabilities and media performance, to support the effort to transform these websites to be like major news websites, and to implement strategies and plans to enrich the digital regional news content. This study is a descriptive and exploratory study, which adopt a future perspective depending on analyzing the current situation of the regional news and press websites, and evaluation it to reach the best version. This study uses multiple tools to collect data; in-depth interview with a sample of experts and professional, browsing a sample of regional news and press website and scientific observation. This study concluded that regional news websites must focus on the quality of the local information content, so these websites are effective and true representative of the region. Furthermore, these websites should work on raising the competence and the professionalism of the communicator, and always work on attracting the distinguish writers and professional journalists in digital Media. Finally, these websites should change the designing styles to maintain ease of use and fast file upload and updating.
