Abstract

This paper seeks to critically analyze the most important and prominent opinions, processes, and analytics about artistic creativity from the perspective of sociology focusing on drama as a significant and influential kind of artistic creativity, also this paper aims to present the necessary mechanisms to activate the role of artistic creativity.
This study focuses on the following: first: the critical perspective of artistic creativity in terms of Marxist heritage, Frankfurt School, and the world visions in the critical school. second: the conservative perspective, third: new approaches in explaining artistic creativity and finally the mechanisms needed to activate the role of artistic creativity in building Egyptian human awareness.
This paper concluded that arts and artistic creativity plays a significant role in building human awareness, and the mechanisms related should be comprehensive, and consider the institution needs to create a supportive social framework for artistic creativity.
Arts have different shapes and kinds; it differs according to the different social constructions. The more the community consider all the difference between the people, the more it is supportive and stimulating for artistic creativity.
