Mass Communication Students’ Attitudes towards the Role of Media Training Institution in preparing them for Work:

Abstract

Academic institution in terms of faculties and department in governmental and private universities play a significant role in theoretical and academic field, academic institution has been focusing on practical training in the recent years, and multiple institution offers different programs for practical training.
This study focuses on identifying radio and T.V. students’ attitude towards the role of media training institution in providing the students with the necessary needs and qualify them for work.
This study depends on Social Learning theory and Cognitive theories using a questionnaire to collect data from a sample of students who represent governmental and private universities.
The results show that training institution contribute to some extent in qualifying students for work, more than half of the sample depends on social media to know about training institution and available courses, and around 59% of the sample are enrolled in their faculty official training, while 42% of the sample are enrolled in private training institution
