Teenager’s attitudes towards the role of cinematic films in the period of the Arab revolutions and beyond in spreading the culture of violence and its effects
This paper aims to identify the Egyptian Teenager’s attitudes towards the role of recent cinematic films in dissemination of violent and pornography culture and its effects on them. The paper harnesses the theoretical background of both cultivation and social learning theories. The study employs descriptive method to diagnose relationships between variables in which it depended on survey by conducting content analysis on all cinematic films which were produced from January 2011 till September 2014. The main results concluded by this study are that there is associative relationship between the rate of watching recent Egyptian cinematic films and the scale of realistic content perception. And that there is associative relationship the rate of watching the movies and both the motives of watching and different demographic variables.
