Abstract

Through reviewing existing literature, it was found that a large degree of the newspaper-reading audience relied on electronic press websites, for the public in general and the youth audience in particular, with a scarcity of media studies that tackled the problem of these electronic newspaper coverage for some issues pertaining to Egyptian youth, such as issues of illegal immigration, and that no single study brought together these various variables, and there are no scientific studies that dealt with Egyptian electronic newspapers' treatment of illegal immigration issues and knowledge of the Egyptian youth's attitudes towards it. Whatever  the opinions about them, these electronic press sites have become one of the most important press sites that are most exposed to by the Egyptian public, despite the modernity of these electronic press sites, but they have become an important reference and source of information and knowledge that cannot be dispensed with. Therefore, this study seeks to know the extent to which the Egyptian electronic newspapers deal with the issues of illegal immigration and the attitude of Egyptian youth towards them.
