Drama reflects societal reality or part of it, attracting millions of viewers to watch it because they find in it a gratification of many of their needs, and the reintroduction of reality through dramas enables people to see the clear links between the drama of their daily lives on the one hand and the psychological aspects of their characters on the other hand. Hence, TV drama professionalism appears not only in how it reflects behaviors, but also in how it deals with them.
From a review of drama research in the media academic literature, it was found that there was a focus of media researchers on drama. Hence the research necessity called for conducting a critical analysis of Arabic studies in television drama from 2000-2015; to find out their strengths and weaknesses, and to provide an integrated view of the methodological elements of scientific discourse in the field of television drama.
