Abstract

The research problem is represented in the widespread media attack represented by the emergence of foreign satellite channels directed in the Arabic language, whether they are translated or present entire paragraphs in the Arabic language, despite the lack of recentness of this phenomenon as the Arab world has been, since a long time, the focus of attention of the directed media represented in the directed radio Overseas Radio. However, the current directed satellite channels are characterized by high technology and quality of performance compared to the Arab satellite channels, which poses a danger to the Arab viewer, especially with the emergence of global viewers who have no loyalty to their local media but to better media, and based on the above, this study tries to identify the trends of Egyptian public opinion towards dealing with Arab issues in satellite news channels directed in the Arabic language through analyzing news bulletins of the BBC, Al-Hurra and Chinese CCTV channels, which are not widely studied in Arab media studies.
The  importance of studying this research problem is due to the growing interest in these channels and is evident in the combination of field and analytical study in this study and the selection of channels that did not receive the attention of Arab media studies, including the Chinese channel directed in the Arabic language.
