Narrative studies in the field of editorial studies in particular have emphasized the importance of innovation in editorial formulations, as journalism needs a new method that makes its performance better by telling stories in a way that explains events and interprets them in a way that makes them clearer. Therefore, studying news narration and its mechanisms is one of the aspects that needs more research and depth through the application of an analytical approach different to communication messages, which is "narrative analysis”. The research problem attempts to extract and define the general scientific pattern that explains the mechanisms of news narration on electronic press websites in relation to the bombing of the National Security building in Shubra al-Khaymah in Qalyubia Governorate, as these sites represent the various press currents in Egypt, between nationalism, partisan and private, which will contribute to understanding its reliance on narrative mechanisms as a new style of journalistic writing, by conducting an analytical quantitative and qualitative study comparing three sites represented in: (Al-Ahram, Al-Shorouk and Al-Fatah) as a representative sample of online press websites.
