This paper aims to identify the number of male and female characters in the main animated films, the shape of the characters and their age, their economic level, their marital status, their social and professional role, the nature of the household in which the characters live in, the nature of the family they belong to, the study employs qualitative and quantitative methods to diagnose these standards. The paper harnesses the theoretical background of gender schema theory. the main results concluded by this study included that the number of male characters were more than the female characters in the films and the places that the characters live in are more obvious in the males than the females.
