Professional standards for the use of television image in public and private channels in presenting the violent events in the Egyptian society

Abstract

This paper aims to research and analyze the standards of professional responsibility for television talk shows in Egyptian public and private channels in regards of the usage of television image of violent incidents in the Egyptian society, and to study how to use the image in the presentation of these events.
 The study employs qualitative and quantitative methods to diagnose these standards.
The paper harnesses the theoretical background of social responsibility.
the main results concluded by this study included that news pieces where the most common format used by the TV shows studied in the paper and that when different images are being used in the talk show it is mainly to inform the public with news that took place and then  came the sensation variable
