Local Integration with Globalization in the Arab media

Abstract

International news agencies have evolved over the years and strengthened their role and spread, with their entry into the last decade of the twentieth century. The stage of being the main news source for the mass media has ended and turned into a news source among several news sources and media outlets, in light of the spread of Western global television news networks, including Arabic ones, which operates through satellite channels throughout the twenty-four hours without interruption, and the increase in competition between them to win the largest possible segment of followers and subscribers on the one hand.
The quasi-international agencies came to start from where the international agencies ended and take advantage of the electronic presence on the Internet to its maximum extent, changing the business model by reaching both subscribers from newspapers and the general public directly through social networks.
This study represents a theoretical and cognitive accumulation that is recorded and classified for the first time in the Arabic language of the phenomenon studied in the field of (international media), and on the other hand it examines the detailed editorial administrative sites in the Arab news sites of international and semi-international media institutions.
