The satirical template from the forms of expression of opinion was very popular with a large segment of the public, but this type of programs sparked a whirlwind of reactions, criticisms and legal prosecutions, and it strayed in most of the time from the traditions of the profession, so it collided with established laws and norms. Sarcastic programs deal with political influences, but this study deals with the social aspect related to the mental image of societies with their distinct cultures, customs and aspects of life that vary from one society to another. Therefore, this study seeks to elicit youth attitudes towards that type of satirical programs and the extent of the relationship between Exposure to it (as an independent variable) and the level of social criticism they have towards the social aspects and issues surrounding them, which are often addressed by those programs from a cynical standpoint (as a dependent variable).
