Abstract

         News stories are considered one of the most prominent television news arts, as they contribute to the formation of the character of any channel specialized in the field of news and bears its own mark. It is distinguished by its very timely, lively and high credibility for launching from the scene of the event through specialized reporters and media professionals.
Hence, the problem of this study is determined as an attempt to monitor and analyze frameworks for media treatment of societal issues with news stories presented in bulletins and news programs, after the emergence of many satellite channels directed to Arab countries. Which are reflected by the two channels, and the persuasion paths used by the two channels, analyzing and evaluating those reports in form and content, and monitoring the differences in the technical and editorial frameworks between the Saudi and Egyptian channels in the field of news stories presented by them, and the methods dealing with different societal events and issues.
The problem can be defined more precisely in the following question: What are the most important media frameworks for addressing societal issues with news stories reflected in news bulletins and news programs on Saudi and Egyptian satellite channels?
