Factors affecting readability of specialized magazines for the blind

Abstract

               Within the framework of the noticeable and increasing interest in people with special needs in recent times. Societies' attitudes towards the disabled have changed with the change in their social perception, and the concern for the inclusion of this group in the fields of study; work; and society, in order to activate the rights of their owners in education; work; non-discrimination and integration into society, and with the recent growing focus on the importance. The role of the press as one of the community institutions responsible for serving and meeting the needs of this group and as one of the sectors of the newspaper readers' audience. Therefore, the press magazine is considered one of the most popular specialized newspapers due to the nature of the role and the function it carries out to meet the real needs of this audience and the nature of its relationship with it and its trends towards its media practices regarding it and its view of its reality Current and future. The Braille News magazine issued by Akhbar Al-Youm is considered the first real attempt to produce Braille journalism that addresses the blind to provide a cognitive and cultural service, inform the blind about what is happening around him; meet their needs; provide diverse and attractive content. In order to reach a large number of readers; support communication with readers and integrate them into society. Which raises the problem of the study. Based on that, the research problem is determined in the following question:
 What are the factors affecting the reading of specialized magazines (Braille News Magazine) among the blind?
