Abstract

The research problem is determined in describing and measuring the trends of Egyptian public opinion towards the political conflict between the Presidency Institution and the “National Salvation Front”, as well as the divisions that prevailed between the components of the political Islam movement.
From the other hand the study aims at monitoring and measuring citizens' evaluation of the performance of the Presidency Institution, headed by Dr. Mohamed Morsi, as well as their evaluation of the performance of the government of Dr. Hisham Kandil, research interest extends to the current survey to monitor public opinion trends towards the performance of the Egyptian media and their news coverage of the conflict and political divisions (polarization) in Egypt.
