Attitude of Kuwaiti youth towards the importance of cyber security

Abstract

 The study sought to determine the attitudes of Kuwaiti youth towards the importance of cybersecurity.. in light of the risks of privacy violations through new media applications and platforms. This study belongs to descriptive research, and it relied on the survey method, and was applied to a sample of 400 Kuwaiti respondents. The study concluded to some important results as follows:
The high level of interest of the study sample respondents in securing and protecting their personal data through social media apps.
The respondents do not trust the security of their data and information through the new media applications and platforms they use.
Increase the study sample respondents’ awareness of the concepts related to cybersecurity and privacy violations.
