Social Media Adoption of Digital Egypt Strategy and Its Relationship in Shaping Youth's Perceptions of Their Future: an applied study on the model of the Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative

Abstract

The study focused on monitoring the role played by social media initiatives in supporting Digital Egypt Strategy, through an analytical field study, applied to the "Digital Egypt Pioneers" initiative page affiliated to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
 Also, it focused on measuring the extent of the richness and interaction of Egyptian youth with these pages and its impact on shaping their ambitions and perceptions of their future. It relied on the survey method and used the content analysis tools and the questionnaire tool to collect its data, which were distributed to a deliberate sample of students and graduates of all Egyptian colleges, consisting of (200) individuals. The study concluded that:
- The Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative page was able to provide the majority of the elements of personal focus for all its publications.
- The direction of the respondents' response indicated a high positive trend towards achieving informational richness through the initiative page.
- The study proved the high level of professional and academic ambition, as well as future perceptions among the Egyptian youth respondents enrolled in the Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative.
