The role of infographics in increasing the readability of economic content among Jordanian youth

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of infographics in increasing the permeability of economic contents among Jordanian youth, by identifying the degree of reliance of Jordanian youth on infographics to increase the permeability of economic contents in the Jordanian press.
The study relied on the survey method, and the field questionnaire tool was used, and the study was applied to Jordanian youth, and the sample consisted of 401 individuals, and the study concluded with many results, most notably:

The results indicated that the study sample paid moderate attention to exposure to economic contents in the Jordanian press, with a rate of (53.3%).
The study sample considered that the most important reasons for the low exposure of Jordanian youth to economic content in the Jordanian press are that it is difficult and complex (51.8%), while the most important reasons for the high exposure of Jordanian youth to economic content in the Jordanian press are that it is the main driver of the Jordanian street in all areas of life (61.7%(.
The study sample believes that infographics play a major role in increasing the readability of economic content in the Jordanian press, whether printed or electronic, as Jordanian youth felt that it shortens the time and effort when reading economic content (67.2%).
