The Egyptian government's use of Twitter

Abstract

The research aimed to study how Twitter is used by ministries in the Egyptian government. The researcher analyzed the content of tweets on Twitter accounts of ministries in the Egyptian government. The number of twenty-four accounts for twenty-four ministries in the Egyptian government was analyzed,  1414 tweet were analyzed throughout the month of June 2023, with the aim of identifying the form that allocated tweets to the accounts of the ministries in the Egyptian government, the language used for tweeting, the topics presented on the ministries accounts, in addition to, when the accounts of the ministries in the government began Its activities on Twitter, numbers of followers and tweets.
