Abstract

Aim of the study is to identify the effectiveness of using modern technologies "artificial intelligence, metaverse, chat GBT" in the fields of education and press industry in Egypt from the point of view of a sample of 457 individuals of faculty members in the media departments of Egyptian universities. It is a descriptive, exploratory study that used the survey approach and the systematic comparison method, it relied on the “questionnaire” form as a tool for collecting data, in addition to other measures. It also relied on entrance to spread of innovative ideas, and the unified theory of accepting and using utAut technology as theoretical approaches, Results: The degree of the respondents' knowledge of modern technology was "high" 41.36%, and the most important source of their knowledge of modern technology was "media", and their level of awareness of the importance of using modern technologies in educational fields and journalism was "high" 35.89%. The degree of willingness of educational and press institutions to use these technologies was "average" 49.02%, level of "expected performance, expected effort and available facilities" was "high" and high intention of the study sample to use these modern technologies in educational and press institutions
