Abstract

Social networking sites formed a new dynamic movement in light of the new technology the world is witnessing, through which it is possible to interact with the public, express opinions and learn about different points of view. And methods of prevention of prevalent diseases, which consisted of (400) single, and the problem of the current research was to know the extent to which Egyptian public relied on official health accounts on social media and used them in the media to spread and support health awareness, and the field descriptive approach was used by collecting data and information From previous literature and studies, in addition to analyzing the opinions of respondents from the Egyptian public (the research sample; Through the questionnaire search tool, which included four axes about social media, digital media, health reality, and future aspirations for better uses of social media use, and one of the most important results of the research came in the first place that the official health accounts on social media are The most effective in identifying the most important health issues and methods of preventing diseases currently prevailing due to their ease of use and spread, and the media develops itself by using technological templates achieve a greater spread, and there is a role for digital media in disseminating the necessary health information that aims to protect human health, and concluded The research includes a set of recommendations, most important of which is necessity of having official health pages on social networking sites.
