The relationship of administrative motivation in order to improve the television production In light of the two-factor theory

Abstract

Management of media organizations seek to reach advanced stages of improving media product and raising the level of public service they provided. This administrative process is influenced by many components of administrative work and its various aspects, including administrative structuring, distributing work tasks, following up on administrative flow work, and how duties are carried out. Moreover other elements of the administrative process. "Administrative Motivation" is one of the administrative strategies that got great attention in contemporary in administrative studies of media institutions, from a specific perspective. Which is searching about the relationship between motivation and job satisfaction for employees in media organizations. “Quality” in the television industry is one of the controversial terms, and in order for the “motivation” processes to be compatible with “quality” in the television product, the motivational practices in the television channels have framed according to the famous theories of motivation, which are many and varied. From here, to examine the relationship between “administrative motivation” and “improvement of the television product” the researcher has formed a conviction of studying the importance of this relationship and examining it in the television production environment especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Indeed, this study was based on a quantitative approach that targets the communicator in Saudi state television channels, passed on the two-factor theory as a theoretical framework. The study reached to a number of results, the most prominent of which are: That there is a statistically significant correlation between the factors (level of work excitement, level of appreciation received by employees, opportunities for development and career advancement, advantage of making decisions and shouldering assigned responsibilities, and achieving achievements and aspirations) with the level of improvement of television product from the point of view of leaders in the television production sector. In fact, this result confirms what literature review have indicated and supports in terms of the importance of activating administrative motivation factors by leaders in the television production sectors in Saudi state television channels in order to control the quality of the television product and raise its efficiency. These results where compatible with the point of view of employees in television production sector, in terms of the importance of realizing the administrative motivation factors and being familiar with them and their importance among employees working in the television production sectors in Saudi state television channels, in an effort to improve the television product and raise its efficiency. The study also confirmed the superiority of the female leaderships in motivating employees in the administrative work environment towards improving the quality of television product in the production sectors of Saudi state television. In conclusion, the study recommended that the importance of taking into account from leaders and employees in the television production sectors, the administrative motivation factors and how to benefit in order to developing the television work environment.
