The Use of Yarmouk University Student to Apply Shein and the Satisfactions achieved from it

Abstract

This study aimed to know the extent to which Yarmouk University students use the Shein application and the satisfactions achieved from it, and to identify the most prominent difficulties that students face while using the Shein application, in addition to knowing the degree of confidence in the application among students. This study is a descriptive study and based on the survey method. The questionnaire tool was also used to collect information from the respondents on a sample of (200) female students from Yarmouk University for the academic year 2022/23. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are:

The female students of Yarmouk University use the Shein application at a rate of (58.5%).
The most important reasons why female students of Yarmouk University do not use the Shein application is that they do not rely on online shopping, at a rate of (56.6%).
The utilitarian motives are what motivated the female students of Yarmouk University mainly to use the Shein application.
The category of women is the highest category that is followed through the Shein application, with a rate of (30.3%) by female students of Yarmouk University.
The application of Shein achieves for the study sample of female students at Yarmouk University the satisfactions it seeks with a (high) degree, with an arithmetic mean of (2.50).
The most prominent difficulties faced by Yarmouk University female students in the Shein application (the arrival of the shipment and the receipt of products requires a long time) with a rate of (2.25%).
The Shein application gained the confidence of Yarmouk University students with a medium degree, at a rate of (2.33%).
