The effectiveness of a campaign using educational media to educate primary school students about the dangers of malnutrition

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the role of a campaign using the educational media, where different types of means were employed (school radio with its various arts, posters, newspapers, Symposium) in educating primary school students about the dangers of malnutrition. Student and the results of the comparison revealed the existence of differences in favor of the post- and follow-up test from the pre-test, and the shift to a positive attitude towards knowledge of the risks of malnutrition, which indicates a change in the actual behavior of students towards malnutrition. The campaign proved effective in the behavior and practices of students towards the risks of malnutrition
