Assessment of the academic media elite for addressing specialized websites of contemporary economic issues.

Abstract

The study sought to achieve a main objective represented in identifying the evaluation of the media academic elite of how specialized (economic) websites deal with economic issues, monitoring the evaluation of the media academic elite of the study sample (positive - negative - neutral) towards the websites' handling of economic topics and issues, in addition to monitoring The most important indicators of economic performance that the academic media elite learned about through specialized websites, and the study was based on building its variables and interpreting its results on the theory of social responsibility, The survey method was also employed, and in its framework a sample of 100 members of the academic media elite was surveyed from Mansoura University, Cairo and Ain Shams University, and the questionnaire tool was employed. Al-Ahram Al-Iqtisadi is at the forefront of the economic websites that are followed by the academic media elite, and the issue of high prices came as the first economic issue that the study sample follows up.
