The role of the parties' websites after June 30 in promoting political participation and youth empowerment

The study aims to identify the role of the official social networking pages of political parties in promoting political participation, and to monitor and measure their role in shaping youth attitudes towards and empowering youth and spreading political awareness among citizens and the ability to mobilize public opinion towards the goals of the State Vision 2030.
This study belongs to descriptive analytical studies, the researcher used the theories of cultural implantation and social responsibility, and the study relied on the media survey method and the comparative method, and the electronic questionnaire newspaper for a deliberate sample of 300 individuals from young people not affiliated with political parties, and an in-depth interview guide for the available sample of political party leaders and coordination members The youth of the parties and their strength 9 , The study found that 54% of the total respondents always follow the electronic pages of political parties, and the weekly use came first with 33%, that the electronic pages of the parties are able to some extent to activate political participation in the first place by 39%, the effectiveness of the parties’ pages came In forming political awareness, 38.3% average effectiveness in first place , The phrase “I have a desire to join a political party” ranked first in behavioral effects with a rate of 75.3%, while officials stressed in the in-depth interviews that political awareness is “familiarity with all the details of politics, parties and parliaments, as well as permanent awareness of the priorities of national security and political security - and the necessity of Engaging in the street and researching the life of the citizen and its consistency with the state’s decisions and actions.” And 100% agreed that political parties have an effective and influential role in the three determinants of “reflecting the interests and issues of the citizen – educating the youth – supporting the state’s plans in all fields.”
