Priorities of the Jordanian public towards the political issues in Jordanian satellite channels based on the outcomes of the Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System

Abstract

This study aimed to identify Priorities of the Jordanian public towards the political issues in Jordanian satellite channels based on the outcomes of the Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System, the study used the descriptive methodology, by relying on the approach The survey, based on an available sample of 406 members from the Jordanian public (Males and Females). Questionnaire was used as a study tool and consisted of several axes.
The most prominent results of the study:

The majority of the sample members follow political issues on Jordanian satellite channels 'sometimes', with a percentage of (45.1%).
“Sawt Al-Mamlaka program” which is broadcast on Al-Mamlaka satellite channel is the most important program among the programs through which the Jordanian audiences follows the political issues of the outputs of the Royal Commission for Political Modernization and by (25.2%), followed by the 'Nabed Al-balad” program on Roya satellite channel (24.1%).
The degree of influence of Jordanian satellite channels in prioritizing the Jordanian public towards political issues related to the outputs of the Royal Commission for Political Modernization, was moderate by a degree (50.5%), large by (23.4%) and by a small percentage (26.1%).
The satisfaction of the Jordanian public 'totally' with the role of Jordanian satellite channels in raising and presenting political issues related to the outputs of the Royal Commission for Political Modernization was averaged (2.94).
The extent to which the Jordanian public benefits 'totally' from Jordanian satellite channels in raising and presenting political issues related to the outputs of the Royal Commission on Political Modernization presented on Jordanian satellite channels was averaged (2.25)
