Abstract

Introduction:
The media has an essential role in that it is a tool for raising awareness of the phenomenon of corruption. It has the ability to influence the various segments of society. It is closely related to the culture of society and it can reach the largest segment of it, especially the audio-visual media, which attracts most segments of society, the media is able to educate individuals to disdain the corrupt and create an environment that rejects corruption.
Problem of the study:
The problem of the study focused on identifying the extent to which communicators in Saudi TV channels are aware of their role in educating the public about the national strategy to protect integrity and combat corruption.
The goals of the study:

Measuring the extent to which communicators in Saudi TV channels follow up on news that deals with protecting integrity and combating corruption in various sources of information.
Knowing the trends of the communicators in the Saudi TV channels towards the national strategy to protect integrity and combat corruption.
Measuring the extent to which communicators in Saudi TV channels are aware of their social responsibility to educate the public on issues related to protecting integrity and combating corruption.

Type and method of the study:
This study fall under Descriptive studies and uses the sample survey method to know the extent to which communicators in Saudi TV channels are aware of their role in educating the public about the national strategy to protect integrity and combat corruption.
The community and sample of the study:
The study population is represented by the communicators in the Saudi TV channels, and the study was applied to a random sample of (120) respondents.
The tools of study:
In collecting data, the researcher relied on the questionnaire, which applied to the respondents of the study sample.
The results of the study:

The majority of communicators in Saudi TV channels are interested in following up the news that deals with the protection of integrity and combating corruption in the various sources of information, with a percentage of (95%) that ranged between a great degree of interest and a moderate degree of interest.
The attitudes of the majority of communicators in the Saudi TV channels towards the national strategy to protect integrity and combat corruption were positive in the first order with a percentage of (95%).
The communicators of the Saudi TV channels are aware of their social responsibility to educate the public on issues related to protecting integrity and combating corruption. Who believe they are highly responsible came in the first rank with a percentage of (71.7%), followed in the second rank by those who believe they are responsible to a medium degree with a percentage of (26.7%).
