The study used the media dependency approach, the study employed discourse analysis tools to monitor the features of the religious discourse of the Corona pandemic via YouTube, and applied a questionnaire to a representative sample of Egyptians in Saudi Arabia, which included the study’s measurements, and the study concluded that the religious discourse has achieved a strong presence in addressing the Corona pandemic from a religious perspective at the faith, jurisprudence and moral levels and spreading a spirit of reassurance to the public, especially those who recorded a greater degree of reliance on religious discourse, as it directed their behavior in a way that contributes to confronting that pandemic and fighting malicious rumors.
