The impact of Egyptian television drama on the prevalence of behavioral violence and crime rates among young people in Egyptian society‎

Abstract

 
The subject of the study is one of the topics that have now become an important focus in our lives and one of the most important factors affecting Egyptian society, as it deals with the impact of Egyptian television drama on the spread of behavioral violence and crime rates among young people in Egyptian society. Given the importance of drama in influencing the behavior of viewers, especially young people, and due to the spread of many manifestations of behavioral violence and the high crime rates in Egyptian society, attention has been paid to studying the impact of drama on the high rates of these rates. To moral perversion, behavioral violence and the full embodiment of crime, and this study is one of the descriptive studies that relied on the survey method and used the content analysis tool for a sample of Egyptian television dramas, which were represented in the series (Bint). Sultan - peacock - all with love - lost a man) and one of the most important findings of the study is the high rates of violence, crime and moral deviation in the dramas of the study sample and the presence of a significant impact of socialization and the social environment on the behavior of dramatic characters
