Attitudes of King Abdulaziz University students towards the role of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Institute for Moderation in supporting intellectual security

Abstract

 
The current study aimed to identify the attitudes of King Abdulaziz University students towards the role of the Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Institute for Moderation in supporting intellectual security. Khalid Al-Faisal for moderation in supporting and enhancing intellectual security in light of the repercussions of globalization, and knowing the most prominent methods used by the Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Institute for moderation in instilling values, rejecting intellectual fanaticism and achieving intellectual security. The study was applied to a random sample of King Abdulaziz University students, and the study concluded that the role that the Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Institute for Moderation plays in strengthening and enhancing intellectual security, through its use of many methods, the most important of which is the strengthening of free dialogue away from violence and extremism. The results also showed a high rate of awareness of the study sample about intellectual security, and one of the most prominent trends formed by the study sample through exposure to the Institute’s methods was to encourage interest in technological applications within the permissible limits. The study recommended the necessity of establishing a center for counseling, guidance and counseling to be a link between the university and the Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Institute for Moderation.
