Abstract

This study dealt with Corona virus crisis and its impact on  education in the Egyptian and Kuwaiti societies. This study aimed to reveal: “The attitudes of students and parents in Egypt and Kuwait towards the effectiveness of online education in light of the Corona crisis, trying to overcome its effect on education and providing educational services to students and completing the academic year, the study sample included “students” in grades (9,10 and 11),  (250) individual male and female students, as well as a sample of “parents” (250) individuals. Both males and females were equally selected in the two groups, both were enrolled in private schools with fees. The study used the “descriptive  method”, depending on the sample survey method, as well as the “comparative approach”. The study relied on several approaches as the theory of determinism, Technological-Accreditation-Interactive ", and used the" questionnaire "form and several other measures as tools to collect. Study  results are,  the online education is of great importance,  there is need to apply it in the two communities during the COVID-19  virus crisis,  the study sample has increasingly depended on the the Internet in a time of crisis to receive online education. The study found  an increased confidence of the study sample as regard the search for online education. Also, The study sample in both  communities revealed a positive attitude about the effectiveness of online education to overcome the Corona crisis effect, providing educational services to students and completing the academic year, with an increased orientation of  both students and parents in Egypt  Kuwait.
