The study sought to determine the effect of youth exposure to tik tok videos via their smartphones on their perception of social values in society, and the study relied on the survey method, and the research sample was represented in a sample of (400) respondants from Egyptian university students devided into 200 males and 200 females from universities (bini Suef - Al-Nahda - Minya - Deraya), the study relied on the survey form, and the results of the study concluded as following: - The most important reasons for youth exposure to Tik Tok videos came in the first order "entertainmentand ,musement", then "recognizing the negatives of the reality in which we live", followed by "audacity in raising issues", then "spreading new societal patterns." Then it is followed by “providing the opportunity for diversity of opinions and ideas through publishing and presenting them,” then “conveying a real, non-fabricated reality,” followed by “allowing the participation of the public and expressing opinion,” then “presenting contemporary youth life forms” followed by “leading to the detection of deviations in society.” Finally, "familiarity with the background of current events",The results indicated the most important values highlighted by the Tik Tok videos, in the first order "moral" values, followed by "religious values", then "cultural values", followed by "social values" and finally "values of citizenship".There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of males and the average scores of females who watch tik tok videos and their impact on their social values. There is Statistically significant differences between youth exposure levels to tik tok videos and their effect on their perception of their social values, - there is a positive correlation between the motives for youth exposure to tik tok videos and their perception of their social values.
