Abstract

This study aims to measure the credibility of the  web sites news ’ treatment of Elnahda Dam  issue  from the public ’s prespective   and its’  evaluation from elites and constructing optimum standards to deal with these vital issues  which have a huge impact on national security.
Theoretical Fram Work:- Media Dependency Theory & The Structural Model For Media Credibility  Levels
Sample of quantative study: 410 from Public Audience
Sample Of qualitative Study: 21 From Media & Specialist  Elites
Results:-
1-     The seventh day site achieved  the first  choice  to the publics’ study sample  as favorite web site  .
2-      The most important reasons for the public's preference for this site: immediacy, importance, and accuracy, which are components of the credibility of this site as well
3-      The existence of a correlation between the levels of credibility of news sites and the extent to which the components of credibility are available in dealing with the issue of the Grand Ethiopian .Elnahada  Dam.
