This study seeks at analyzing cartoons that tackle poverty during 2018. Using a content analysis, 20 cartoons including Egyptian and international cartoons published in Al Ahram, Al Masry Al young and political cartoons.com are investigated. This study concluded that the frames of poverty are shallow and do not cover the main reasons for the poverty. This study seeks at analysing cartoons that tackle poverty during 2018.
