This study aims to know the qualitative and quantitative attitudes of the Egyptian journalists towards AI employment in newsrooms. The study uses diffusion of innovation and technology acceptance model as a theoretical background to analyse the research variables. The study employs survey as a tool to collect data along with questionnaire and interviews. The research sample includes 150 journalists, academics, experts have been interviewed to provide answers to the main research queries an 88% emphasize the substantial significance of employing AI techniques in newsrooms as it accelerates fact checking and news aggregating processes. They concluded that unpreparedness of newsroom sites and staff to acquire digital skills would hinder quick implementation of this technology.
