This study measures the international news channels in Arabic that apply “Watching now” features to calculate and track viewership numbers instantly. The France 24 channel is used as case study to indicate the attractiveness factor of this feature on YouTube during a variety of specified content such as politics, economic, social, and sports sections. Time is one of the main variables that influence interactivity level of the viewers. Media richness is deployed as theoretical background of the study. The findings concluded that France24 is highly interactive channel in reporting time, however the other types of content are less interactive. The watching now feature proved media richness with different high, medium, and low levels.
